This is the SRAM Blackbox GXP Ceramic Bearing bottom bracket Road, with an Italian step frame interface.
The Blackbox GXP bottom bracket is a bottom bracket with high performance external bearings.
The GXP system captures the left side bearing between the axle and the left crank, allowing the drive side bearing to float axially on the pin, thus eliminating the need for load the bearings during adjustment.
The simplicity of installation is high: once tightened according to the correct specs, you're ready to roll with a BB without concerns. The GXP system uses two cartridge bearings bicycle-specific and eight seals for a smooth ride and SRAM's durable and gutter seal technology dramatically improves sealing against the elements by reducing the gasket resistance.
