The BFT with EPS technology features large central and external knobs, which, combined with the voluminous carcass, create an extremely aggressive tire for all-mountain and freeride. It also offers excellent traction both in turns and when braking, just what's needed when the going gets tough.
EPS (Exceptional Puncture Safety) technology is achieved by inserting a patented layer of rubber-coated polyester between the casing and the tread. The tight weave of this lightweight, puncture-resistant layer prevents foreign bodies from penetrating the casing and damaging the inner tube.
