Built to meet the demands of top riders while keeping weight to a minimum, XX is the evolution of the previous XX1 Eagle AXS groupset. The new rear derailleur is more durable thanks to the new dropout-less interface and features popular technologies like Overload Clutch and the AXS system.

Designed as an integrated and interdependent component, the T-Type derailleur mounts around the same axle as the wheel, in direct contact with the cassette and with a dropout-free interface.

The traditional dropout therefore disappears and a new “Full Mount” mounting system is used: this allows for a much more robust connection, which grips both parts of the frame.

- Lower pulley called Magic Wheel that continues to turn even if something gets stuck in it

- Absence of screws for adjusting the stops, it changes its position during gear changes to accommodate the alignment of the chain

AXS Pod Command

Thanks to its reversible design, the AXS Pod can be mounted on the left or right and is removable in seconds. It still contains a CR 2032 coin cell battery, which can be swapped out in seconds.

Crankset

The XX SL crankset features hollow-core carbon crankarms, is Sram’s lightest crankset ever, and is ready for mounting the new Quarq power meter.
