This SRAM XX Eagle Transmission AXS groupset for a 1x12-speed wireless electronic drivetrain on your mountain bike features a power meter axle for power measurement. You get a power meter crank, an electronically controlled rear derailleur with AXS controller, a cassette and a chain, all from the XX series for all-mountain riding and enduro racing.

One of the special features of Eagle Transmission is the derailleur-free installation of the electronic rear derailleur, which replaces the universal UDH derailleur. This groupset is therefore only possible on frames with this dropout. Direct mounting results in precise, tolerance-free alignment of the rear derailleur and unprecedented harmony between the rear derailleur and cassette. Adjustment bolts and limit screws are not necessary. Furthermore, the rear derailleur is designed to be extremely durable, easily withstanding impacts from all sides and continuing to ride smoothly after a fall. Thanks to the Magic Wheel, the lower derailleur pulley, the chain simply continues to roll if a branch or similar gets in the way.

The XS-1297 features one aluminum sprocket and eleven steel ones, offering a wide range of 10-52 teeth, with optimized gear steps compared to Eagle cassettes. The X-SYNC design enables exceptional shifting performance, especially under full load. Thanks to the cassette mapping, gear changes occur along designated shift ramps, making the process extremely smooth. The power meter crankset is lightweight and rigid thanks to its foam-infused carbon arms. It houses a single-sided power meter spindle unit with a deviation of only +/- 3% and carries a 32-tooth Direct Mount chainring. Like the cassette sprockets and derailleur pulleys, it is perfectly matched to T-type chains. The XX chain has a special flattop design reminiscent of road chains, but specifically designed for Eagle Transmission.

A rear derailleur battery and charging device are included. Use the groupset with the AXS app to set it up, fine-tune shifting behavior, and make and view other settings.
