Shimano 105 R7000 2x11v RIM groupset

The shape of the components is comparable to that of older models. The 4-arm Hollowtech II crankset and oversized crankarms increase stiffness. The crankset shape has been optimized for frames with disc brakes: the rear wheelbase can be up to 135 mm and the chain stay length can remain standard (410 mm), without affecting the chainline.

The rear derailleur with 11/32 cassette features a short cage. It features the Shadow shape of higher-end models, which integrates perfectly under the cassette to protect it from any impacts.

The front derailleur structure is more compact, without the long lever arm (characteristic of the 105 5800 model) which could cause the cable to rub on the tire.

The aesthetics and ergonomics of the Dual Control levers are inspired by the Dura-Ace and Ultegra models. The internal technology has been redesigned: the lever travel required for shifting is shorter, promoting faster shifts. The travel is adjustable.

The brake calipers are compatible with wide tires (up to 28 mm cross-section). The dual-pivot shape increases power.
